Youth

The American Legion has a proud tradition of supporting our nation’s youth. The organization was founded on this principle in 1919, when Children & Youth was declared one of the Legion’s four pillars.

American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary mission, "... is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

Honor Guard

"Thru rain or sleet or heat or snow, the American Legion Honor Guard will go. To perform their duties on command in honor of all those who defended this land. Their gesture of good deeds for the family bereaved will bring comfort and closure to what they have achieved."
